TERRY THA RAPMAN - BOYZ ARE NOT SMILLING

          TERRY THA RAPMAN’s real name are TERRY MADAKI.  He has always loved music as a child, all thanks to his father who always had BOB MARLEY, FELA ANIKULAPO KUTI, BONGOS IKWE and MICHAEL JACKSON playing in the house.  The Lafia indigene of Nassarawa State, who is the first born of the three children, discovered HIP HOP in his mid teens. LL COOL J. RAKIM and BIG DADDY KANE were his first RAP influences which later helped him around the harsh and rough neighborhood he grew up in.

         TERRY later hooked up with a DJ friend and the instrumentals supplied by the DJ helped TERRY to sharpen his SKILLS. In 1994 after finishing secondary school at the Federal Government College, Minna, TERRY THA RAPMAN pushed out some DEMOS that drew the attention of Kaduna underground scene to the budding RAPPER.  With the Kaduna religious crisis in the year 2000, the MADAKI family relocated to Jos where TERRYgot a call from SOLO DEE, CEO Payback Tyme Records, asking to sign on the rapper.  With tertiary education completed in the prestigious Federal Government Polytechnic, Kaduna where he bagged a HND in Mass Communication, 
         TERRY THA RAPMAN flew to Abuja and got together with fellow label mates SIX FOOT PLUS, MODE 9, LD xtra large, BARON and RULECLEAN who had formed the then rap super group SWAT R.O.O.T. (Sporadic Words And Tactics, Rhyming on our terms). Unfortunately for the group, the albums recorded never dropped as a result of poor management.

Following the unfavorable developments, TERRY THA RAPMAN dropped out of the label along with others, relocated to Lagos and signed with CHARLES NOVIAs November Records joining heavy weights like Majek Fashek and Esse Egese. It is through this label that Tha Rapman Beginz LP got delivered to the public as TERRY’s debut album. Though the album did not enjoy proper promotion and distribution, it still got TERRY nominations for BEST RAP ALBUM at the HIP  HOP World Awards and NIGERIA Music Awards in the year 2007.

           TERRY THA RAPMAN did not rest on his oars. He has kept his craft as number one priority and has performed at live shows which include the revered STAR MEGA JAM alongside KANYE WEST and T-PAIN. He has also featured at the Nite of Hip Hop at Clarke Quay Area in Singapore. He was also on the Glo Campus Tour in Ilorin, Kwara State.  Currently on Megaphunk records, 
           TERRY THA RAPMAN released his sophomore album titled “BOYZ ARE NOT SMILLING”. After popularizing the album title into a street slogan that has seriously caught on with the youths, the first single off the album was released. It is called ‘Sample’ with the remix featuring PHEROWSHUZ and STEREOMAN making it to video. The hit single won the Best Rap Single at Hip Hop World Awards 2010. This year alone,he has been nominated for the best rap act. At the NEA awards in new york,city people awards.The follow-up singles, Boyz r not smiling and boyz don hammer both have top several charts across the nation and cementing the Boyz r not smiling brand in the heart of nigerians in disapora. With an hat trick of nominations in the coming hiphop world awards and registering the bans slogan in the urban dictionary the industry is about to take a new turn as tha rapman redesigns another era .

SHALOM - CURVES

             When you hear the Hebrew word SHALOM, what comes to your mind is the bible or the English translation of the word “PEACE”…but here we are talking about none of that! SHALOM here, is one new breed of NIGERIAN musician, with an ELECTIC sound.  Born, TITUS UWANA UFOT on august 15th '82. His journey into music began at age ten.
            SHALOM joined the senior choir in his church as the youngest addition to the group, though young in age, he was unarguably one of the best TENOR the church had, his early found love for MUSIC grew so strong into his teenage years, he began the melody makers, an eight man ACCAPELLA group. Their popularity soared beyond the four walls of the HIGH school when it began, they did gigs like PROFESSIONALS....… they were booked for different performances, from WEDDINGS to conventions and even government functions, but the group could not keep it together  after graduation, this development led to shalom's fresh journey into music as a solo artiste.
            Today the fair skinned singer has matured into a full blown young man ready to take on the music industry armed with multiple singles; NWAYIOMA,  FEEL ME, BAKAN and fresh out videos and a charged spirit gearing to make imprints in the sands of the MUSIC INDUSTRY.  SHALOM featured on 2tracks in CHUDDY  K's “I AM ME!” album; WALAKOLOMBO and ROCK THIS PARTY (from DJ VINNIE mix tape) and has many collaboration to his profile.

             ESHO - B was born OLAITAN JASON OWOADE, he has been RAPPING, SINGING & ACTING since his teens. He had  his INSPIRATION from LEGENDS such as OLU JACOBS, DENZEL WASHINGTON and artistes such as JAY-Z, P-DIDDY & WILL SMITH.
           ESHO-B is based in UK, he's also an A rated EVENT MANAGEMENT EXECUTIVE and CEO of Esho-B Events Ent. which he runs alongside his acting, songwriting, singing and performing. Esho has worked alongside many big names in the industry including GINUWINE, J HOLIDAY, MAY 7 & many others.
            ESHO-B is a talented RAPPER & ACTOR who comes into his own on stage and at performances with his unique rapping and lyrics. ESH0-B combines cultural lyricism with modal mild beats focoussing on lyric content and on theefervescent tones of cultural lingual communication.
             ESHO-B is a seasoned ACTOR & PRODUCER winning an award in 2011 starring in the movie "BABAJIDE THE BOY FROM AFRICA" he also has a range of movies under his belt that showcase his shades as an actor and  he works with up and coming artistes and actors developing their talent and skill and working with them to produce music tracks and videos.  He is well known for his CHARITABLE work with schools and other voluntary organisations promoting the proliferation of ethno music within and outside of the UK and for his event management and productions skills.

BIG LO - MONEY IDENTITY FT. FLAVOUR

            BIG LO was born LOTANNA UDEZUE,  He started music at a tender age. BIG LO is a graduate of BIO-CHEMISTRY, he had his major BREAK  in 2004 with “DELICIOUS” from his debut album wherein he featured 2SHOTZ.   Although the track received great airplay across the country and got him a HIP HOP WORLD  Award for Best RAPPER, the chubby rapper however went AWOL after the early buzz died. With the NIGERIAN mainstream music now getting INTERNATIONAL recognition, the RAPPER cum PRODUCER is oiling his gears for his SOPHOMORE album. His forthcoming album titled “BACK IN BUSINESS” got people like RUGGEDMAN, DURELLA, STYL-PLUS, 2SHOTZ, W4 and FLAVOUR.
            BIG LO  have discovered that music nowadays is really nothing; most of them are just like empty shells, it’s all plastic. Even the ones that [receive] AIRPLAY don’t last for long because they are too COMMERCIALIZED and sound a lot like JINGLES. So the major theme of my album will be to show myself to the public as the real BIG LO.
              On BIG LO's first album, he was kind of in a hurry to blow so he gave a lot of tracks that bent to popular wishes, but this one will be more about him in ways that BIG LO's fans have not really experienced. The album will show a new BIG LO that is different from the funny guy that just does funny raps about chicks. As an IGBO person as well as a CULTURAL and EDUCATED person.  BIG LO's forth coming album will showcase all these parts of him. Of course BIG LO will still talk about GIRLS but there will be other topics besides that. He owns a RECORDING STUDIO, his own production company with managers, which is very similar to what most RECORD LABELS offers. DR. SID - BAMIJO FT. KILLZ, M.I & ELDEE -

            DR SID was born SIDNEY ONORIODE ESIRI on the 1st of May 1980, into an ENTERTAINMENT family. His mother a successful FASHION DESIGNER and his father the legendary actor JUSTUS ESIRI famous for his role as the VILLAGE HEADMASTER. DR SID is the second child of 4 children from an early age he had his heart set on becoming an ENTERTAINER.  However his life took a different course graduating from the Nigerian Air force Secondary school, DR SID went on to the UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN (U I) to study Dental Surgery.
          During his school years his flair for ENTERTAINMENT could not be hidden as he took part in school plays, dance competitions and concerts wining numerous awards along the way. His break finally came in 1999 when he signed on to a fresh new record label TRYBE RECORDS (who released the legendary hip hop group Trybesmen) as a choreographer. it took 3 years for DR.SID to get his chance in front of the mic, when he was made a member of DA TRYBE, and given a spot on the song that caused a revolution in NIGERIAN HIP HOP "OYA" in 2002 alongside SASHA, 2SHOTZ, TIMI, DEL, and the TRYBESMEN (ELDEE, BK & FREESTYLE).
           In May 2004 DR.SID became a qualified DENTIST. He to moved to the UK working with the likes of JJC & the 419 squad, FELIX DUKE, KAS, R70 music group and  then Unknown D'BANJ.
                 DR. SID was  signed onto DON JAZZY's MO' HITS RECORDS along side D'BANJ, WANDE COAL, KAYSWITCH and D'PRINCE &  featured on 7 of the 15 tracks on the MO HITS Allstars CV (Curriculum Vitae Album), and featured in the videos for MOVE YOUR BODY, BOOTY CALL, PERE & CLOSE TO YOU.
               DR SID has the talent of being not just a musician but an MC he has hosted numerous events over the years, some of which include; SOUL E starcomms concert at THE VAULT (for 5 Months) MTV alert concert at planet one, NEXT NIGERIAN ICON launch at the Civic Centre, DIAMOND BANK end of  year party 2006, Fusion Charity Fashion Show 2006. The Rythym Council (benin and enugu), MTV MTN VJ search......to mention a few.

           SOSSICK was born EFOSA DOUGLAS  from EDO STATE of NIGERIA. He's  DAGRIN's long time COLLABORATOR, FRIEND & PRODUCER.   SOSSICK has  release a new
track featuring him and the legendary YORUBA rapper. The title of the track
is *J0R OH* which hightlights the chemistry bewteen one of Nigeria's finest
producers and one of the late great rapper.
           This song is part of SOSSICK's debut album which he is in the studio working on day and night. In 2005 SOSSICK broke out in the industry when he produced the first single off rapper GINO's debut album titled "*NO BE GOD*? which went on to become a international hit,with its video revolutionalising music

           D'PRINCE Born CHARLES ENEBELI in the city of LAGOS, to MR COLLINS ENEBELI, a Business man and a musical production manager with his own label know as sagitarious productions and MRS ENEBELI, an international business tycoon..music has always being in the family..so he is no stranger to the music business..D'PRINCE is the last child from a family of four children in which DON JAZZY  is the 1st.
            He attended KINGS COLLEGE Lagos for his secondary level education and then decided to follow his passion in music. Having a strong, musical blood flowing through his veins it wasnt too long before the music came calling, at that time DON JAZZY was also ready to embark on D'BANJ's project in the UK, after he was done with the album he needed to come bk home to NIGERIA for promotion of the album and to establish his record Label.
