BEAZY - OVER N OVER FT. DR. FRABZ

          BEAZY's real name AFOLABI DUROTOYE, was born in JOS but grew up in LAGOS and is the second son of AKIN  and ABAKE DUROTOYE. Although his father’s intense love of music ensured there was always music in the house, BEAZY was never particularly crazy about listening to music. In fact he never displayed any musical interests until he took up poetry in primary school. After secondary school, he went to England for his A-Levels and University education in 2003.

         In 2005, he released his first mixtape, M.I.L.E (Make It Look Easy) Vol.1. This was positively received by all that heard it and most importantly ensured the support of his parents, which he has till this day. Throughout his stay in England he continued working on music, learning to record, mix and master his own music. He moved back to Abuja in 2008, where he quickly immersed himself in the local music scene, working with producers such as VC PEREZ, TY-MIX and SAZZY to name a few.

Simply put, BEAZY is a phenomenal rapper. But as he admits, being a good rapper doesn’t quite cut it these days. In a time when the world seems to be brimming with rap talent, a lot of things set him apart from the horde. It goes way beyond his witty punch lines, catchy hooks or even his cool demeanour on a song.  It also extends to his perfectionist approach to music and his work ethic. In just three years, he has amassed an archive of close to 250 recorded songs and is still recording regularly.

         His attitude is also a breath of fresh air because unlike most, his aspiration is not only to be the local champ, but to be recognized worldwide as one of the best, if not the best, at his profession. It is most certainly a very bold ambition by this young Nigerian, and one that he realizes is not going to be easy to achieve, to put it very mildly. But according to him “with back breaking work, belief in God, yourself and your team, absolutely anything is possible.”

In May 2009,he released the "GET MONEY STAY FLY" Mixtape which has since gotten over 100,000 downloads.

          In December 2009,he released "THE AFFIDAVIT" a 16 track, rap only compilation to serve as further proof of his rap credentials.

In April 2010,BEAZY released his first official single “BAD GUY’ Featuring SHANK and CHYKAY.

          A video directed by ROTIMI OSHODI (R.Cube) was released and has been receiving regular airplay on all the major music video channels.

Soon after the video was shot at the end of May, BEAZY started work on another mixtape entitled “IT’S GO HARD SEASON” which he also released online to rave reviews.

 In August 2010 BEAZY started the Beazy Music Monday project, basically he’s releasing a new song every week for 52 weeks (1 year). He’s currently on week 40 with 12 weeks to go. The music is released on all the major blogs every week and regularly gets between 12000 and 15000 downloads every week.

YQ - I LIKE GIRLS

         YQ is a Nigerian singer. Hailing from the center of the country, the confluence of two great rivers, it is no surprise that YQ himself is the meeting place of different music genres. Dominant in his sound are R&B, REGGAE and SOUL. He blends them all smoothly, before adding a pinch of YORUBA flavor.

         YQ has been called the hook master, and with good reason. His collaborations with MI,  MODE9,  2SHOTZ,  NAETO C and a host of others, have helped their songs to climb to the top of the charts. Partners, rivals, fans, media and record labels swoon over this young talent. But the singer has not always been so celebrated. It took many years to make this diamond shine.

        Born YAKUB JUBRIL YQ knew early that he’d grow up to be fulfilled but what he did not expect was that stardom would come to him from the tightness of his rhymes, a gift he became aware of in the mid-nineties. For about ten years, he honed his craft behind closed doors. The second of seven children, music was first and foremost his way of dealing with his feelings.
In 2003, he formed the group Q-KREST with his partner Krest-up. They released a musical video for their song ''FIRE DANCE,'' which got rave reviews and earned them performances at the Play Safe Rave by Tequila Events in 2003 and The COCA-COLA Show (Q-KREST opened for Ivorian sensation MAGIC SYSTEM). In 2004, the duo performed together one last time at the TETNISIK, before deciding to go their separate ways.
         Musically, He lists BOB MARLEY; R. KELLY, 2FACE and BORN JAMERICANS as major influences. YQ paid his dues, bouncing from one label to the next, in search of his big break. It wasn’t long before he got signed by 2KONCEPTS ENTERTAINMENT, after he did E FI MI LE with the late DAGRIN. MK of Two Concepts Entertainment immediately invested in studio time for the emerging artist; a visionary businessman, he knew he had struck gold.
Following the advice of artist BENNY WILLIS, YQ who was known for his rhymes turned to singing, revealing an even bigger gift. His career grew from strength to strength as he worked on songs, old and new, with DURELLA,  MARVELLOUS BENJY,   BUZZMAN,  DAGRIN and former partner Krest-up, enlisting the production magic of DR. FRABZ, SOSSICK,  TERRY G and SARZ. The result is the highly anticipated and newly released album, I AM YQ.
This album testifies to the coming-of-age journey of an artist who gave up the comfort of his home, barbed hair, sold recharge cards, and turned his back from semi-professional football. His wealth of experience on the streets of Lagos is translated in his album by the use of Yoruba (YQ’s mother tongue is IGALA) and Pidgin and a general sense of humility. This influence is balanced out with a predominance of English, an appreciation for the luxuries of life and his exposure to American R&B. “I sing to touch people’s lives, rich or poor,” says the crooner.

DAREY - BA NI KIDI

              DAREY is a multiple award-winning and Multiple Platinum selling urban R&B singer, musician, songwriter, music producer and entrepreneur Darey is not one to depend on the legacy of his late Father; the legendary African Jazz Musician and entertainer ART ALADE
For fifteen years and counting, the multi-talented act, born Dare (pronounced Da-ray) Art Alade has been a disc jockey, TV presenter, Master of Ceremonies, entertainment consultant, voice over artist, performing/recording artist, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Whether performing alongside the world's finest superstars such as Beyonce, Jay Z, Kelly Rowland, Snoop Dogg, John Legend, Lionel Richie, Sean Paul, Rihanna, Usher, Akon and Shakira; or hosting events attended by World leaders and top dignitaries, such as past U.S Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria, one thing is certain; DAREY is a consummate perfectionist.
             As a teenager, he shuttled between Cool FM and the University of Lagos where he obtained a degree in Music. A huge break came in 2004, during the first ever African edition of the internationally renowned TV series Project Fame, in which DAREY participated as a contestant, emerged third and had the opportunity to perform in front of over 100 million TV viewers, as well as sign a recording deal with Sony BMG Africa.
         In 2006, he released his debut Album "From Me 2 U" on Storm Records and early 2009; he dropped his second album, called "unDAREYted," on his newly founded Record Label, Soul Muzik. This album produced the biggest R&B song in Africa that year titled "Not The Girl."
The buzz from his second album caught the attention of the African American Music business legend Dick Griffey, who is credited with discovering and influencing the music careers of artists such as Shalamar, The Whispers, Babyface, L.A. Reid and Dr Dre. Dick Griffey, who offered to Executive Produce Darey's third album which was to break DAREY further into the U.S and international markets, unfortunately he passed away before the project could be completed.
In 2010, apart from completing his third studio album release, DAREY was busy performing at major shows across the World. The ever touring musician graced stages at sold out events in Nairobi, Johannesburg, Abuja, Lagos and other major African cities, including a special concert with R & B powerhouse R Kelly in South Africa and the This Day Peace Concert Tour in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, which also featured Ciara and 50 Cent. On request of the President of Nigeria, he was invited to perform a special set at the presidential villa in an exclusive dinner to commemorate the Country's 50th independence Anniversary. At the event, which was broadcast live to over 200 million viewers across the world, he performed a medley of 50 songs with his 15-piece band, to a room filled with several African Presidents.
              DAREY subsequently released his twin albums in 2011: "Double Dare," on his Soul Muzik imprint and will also release an International self titled album "Darey" which will feature production and collaborations from various International producers and artists including Grammy Award winner Chamillionaire.
Besides his accomplishments as a recording artist, music producer, TV/Radio personality and master of ceremonies, DAREY is also an accomplished businessman and philanthropist with backbone support from Soul Muzik Productions, an event and TV production affiliate and a state of the art production facility, Soul Muzik Studios, where he does all his productions and recordings. I started of with live concerts in prison...The 'SAY NO TO CRIME' initiative has seriously grown since its inception in 2009, the first campaign concert was held at the medium security prison kirikiri Apapa Lagos, on the 15th of october 2009,featuring top celebrities in Nigeria entertainment industry including SAMMIE OKPOSO, DJ JIMMY JATT, FELA DUROTOYE, ROOFTOP MCs, MIKE AREMU,  ALHAJA BUKKY AJAYI,  DEKUNLE FUJI, JAHFEXRA,  DADDY FRESH among many others,the event ended as a real success, gaining absolute approval of the Nigeria Prison Service and later transcend beyond mere approval into an official endorsement on the 24th september 2010, by three comptroller Generals in Nigeria, namely:Nigeria Prison Service, CG Olushola Ogundipe(OFR,mni)

WANDE COAL - WHO BORN THE MAGA FT. K-SWITCH

         WANDE COAL Born to CHIEF  IBUKUN OLUFUNTO  and MRS OMOLARA OLUWAYEMISI OJOSIPE on the 18th of October 1985, 1st child in a family of two children. WANDE had his primary school at STAFF NURSERY and PRIMARY SCHOOL,  IJANIKI and SECONDARY EDUCATION in FEDERAL GOVERNMENT COLLEGE, IJANIKI in Lagos State and headed on to UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS where he studied CRK.

     WANDE like most great musicians started singing in the teenage choir at his church. He got his break in the Nigerian entertainment industry as a dancer. He continued improving on his vocals skills and got signed to DON JAZZY's MO'HITS  RECORDS in 2006. He feautured on D'BANJ's Rundown/Fuck you up album on singles like; Loke, tonosibe and why me. Being signed to Mo'Hits records he is also a member of Mo'Hits allstars and played a major role in the released CV (Curriculum Vitae) album.

    His first single of the cv album 'OLOLUFE' has been described as the greatest love song ever written by a Nigerian. SAMKLEF - MOLOWO NONI FT. WIZKID, D'PRINCE & ICE PRINCE

      SAMKLEF's real name is SAMUEL OGUACHUBA,a talented music producer cum artiste signed to NONI RECORDS/ACE-STAGE ENTERTAINMENT. He is from IMO STATE, Nigeria but was born and bred in LAGOS. As a producer, he has worked with names like SUNNY NEJI RUGGEDMAN, DURELLA, WIZKID, SKALES, D’PRINCE (MO’ HITS), SIMISOLA, J BRYTE, EMMSONG, O'CUBE, JAHDIEL,VECTOR, MUDINA, to mention a few. He has also worked with several firms in the entertainment and advertising industries like Sound Factory, Flow Records, Smashers Records, Back 2 Black, Mindfalls and Exp & i360.

Life on the streets amidst the harsh survival conditions of the typical Nigerian ghetto toughened SAMLEF and gave him an opportunity to see life from different perspectives. This is very evident in his music where he shares his strong beliefs from the lessons he has learnt from the streets.

KASH 11 - LIVE WIRE

           KASH 11 is a gifted artiste and producer, KASH 11 has been able to create a followership that appreciates good music both within and outside his territory- Lagos Island. Born Azeez Olanrewaju Ojutiku in Lagos Island, KASH 11 got his stage name from one of his names Kashimawo ‘Kash for short (let’s wait and see) and his tribal mark represents the 11.
This grandson of late sakara music legend ALHAJI LEFTY SALAMI BALOGUN, started rapping in
1994, with a group called D-L-B which comprises his brothers Dapo Balogun a..k.a
DJ METHALIC and Bayo Balogun a. k. a BRASSBELL under the name Larry O-Jay.

In 1998 Dapo and Bayo travel back to Canada so he started a group
called DA MIGHTY KIDZ which was made up of him, K-FLOW(IBRAHIM SALAWE
now C.E.O SATTY RECORDS),Soburino and Clef. The group recorded some songs,
gain some airplay, performed at the French cultural centre, Falomo,
Lagos, campus shows etc but broke-up in 2000 when K-Flow travelled
to London hence everyone went on to pursue their solo career
Bent on being a music star, he join a group of 12 rappers called X-CHRONICS to record a mix tape album, released 2 singles on radio and received heavy rotation on some radio stations.

However in 2001, the multi talented act decided to go into music production and studio engineering and as fate would have it, he met BIGLO on the internet; he started production at his studio -he went on to produce for artistes like 2Shotz on the Alaba boy
multi platinum song/album WHICH LEVEL, brought back to the limelight the multi talented
TV Presenter/dancehall act SPY-DA-MAN with the song dancehall. He also produced rap icon RUGGEDMAN’s "EMI NI" ft DAGRIN and DURELLA , WANDE COAL & DR. S.I.D of MOHITS. TIMI of the defunct Da trybes, Xklusive, Shanko Rasheed, Reminsce, Lexzy Doo and others have enjoyed his creative work.

Recently in 2011, he formed ‘GOODMORNING ENTERTAINMENT’ a management Company that will support his record label in terms of marketing.

After 3years of working underground on his new album –THE RETURN OF KUKUTE, like a hungry lion he is set to take his place to rule amongst the finest in an industry where new talents are springing up every minute.

           RUGGEDMAN......Born  MICHAEL UGOCHUKWU STEPHENS  in ABIA STATE of NIGERIA. Political Science graduate of Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo.Does his RAP with a fussion of my local lingua,so the world will know where he is coming from.  Dropped his first song in 2002 titled "EHEN Pt.1,in which he critisized the so called top musicians in Nigeria then.  That made him enemy number 1 and shot him into the main stream.Itwas a tough and tense time but Ruggedman has lived up to everything
and is a relivant part of the Nigerian entertainment industry.Especially since he revolutionized the Nigerian music industry with his bold but risky entry into the industry.Now he run shis own label in Nigeria "RUGGED RECORDS" and a clothing line called 20th SEPT WEAR.Named after his birthday..

Have also performed in London,South Africa and Wales.
Ruggedman single handedly arranged and went on a 7 states tour in Nigeria and UK when his Ruggedy Baba album was released.
          RUGGEDMAN  is the most featured rapper in Nigeria. He has featured in over 150 tracks .MEANING HIS VOICE IS GOING TO BE HEARD FOR A LONG TIME TO COME IN THIS COUNTRY AND WHERE EVER THE MUSIC IS TAKEN TO.

The JCMNDT video is also on MTV Base ( Africa ) playlist. MTV Africa reaches an impressive 45 countries across the globe. Along with heavy rotation on the syndicated music shows via a channel in NIGERIA called SOUNDCITY.
