KAS LIONHEART JONATHAN aka KASBEATS was born 6th of November -1983. to a NIIGERIAN father and a BRITISH mother, he is the last son of two. He is of YORUBA decent and occasionally referred to as OMO YORUBA meaning ‘Son of the Yoruba tribe, in Yoruba. KAS openly exudes pride and takes full ownership of his YORUBA inheritance despite his BRITISH up bringing. At a delicate age of 7, KAS would perform regularly to a crowd of 400 people in his home land NIGERIA. Showing such verve and confidence so early on musically KAS continued to follow what he felt was a ‘Fire GOD had put in his heart’. His uncle discovered his talent in the performing arts at the age of 18, and soon after KAS then embraced
this passion and set out in pursuit of a career an ENTERTAINER.

By no means has KAS’s ambition exceeded his talent. He is currently becoming a house hold brand within the Nigerian music industry. So much so, that this multi talented singer song writer/ producer has been hailed as the future ‘Puff Daddy’, by some of the most reputable
and accredited groups within the African media.
KAS not only has the vision of musical greatness, but for those who have been lucky enough to have seen him perform live, would know he is a true entertainer, and what you see is not just an image, it is in fact a God given talent. After years of co writing and producing songs with the likes of SIR SHINA PETERS, M.I, NNEKA, GOLDIE, NAETO C, 2FACE, D'BANJ,and WANDE COAL, to mention a few. KAS released his first single ‘WIND FOR ME’& ‘FI MI LE’ in the year 2010.
‘FI MI LE’ written and produced by KAS himself, became a hit instantly. Within the first week of its release, Fi Mi Le sold over 1.2 mil copies officially in Nigeria alone, in two weeks earning him a nominations for numeric awards Dynamix All Youth Awards SONG OF THE YEAR
and BEST NEW ARTISTE in the September 2010 NEA (Nigeria Entertainment Awards ) as 'Best International artist'. KAS is presently topping the MTV Africa charts and from this single alone, receives boundless air play from radio stations across Africa. KAS continues to turn media heads to be interviewed and attract many other elite musicians to be teamed up with to record, smashing tracks one after another.

On August 30th 2010, KAS performed, as one of the lead artists at ‘The Carnival Music Festival 2010’ in the heart of London City, to a crowd of over 2,900 screaming fans. Releasing other hits such as 'like a bottle' produced for the Hennessy & Co. brand, a brand which sells on average 50 million bottles a year worldwide, KAS and his career as a recording artist and entertainer, has gone from strength to strength in what some would classify as ‘OVERNIGHT’ success.
