STEEVEBARS was born  in  OGBOMOSO in OYO STATE of NIGERIA , to a christian family comprising of a NIGERIA FATHER & a GHANIAN MOTHER. being the third in a family of three boys and a girl, currently ih his mid 20's. Love him or hate him, STEEVEBARS  is by far one of the most successful rising hip-hop artists ever to come on the NIGERIAN MUSIC SCENE. 
  
He is greatly influenced by the music of the likes of: FABOLOUS, G-UNIT, GAME, JAY-Z, NAS, EMINEM, B.I.G and LUPE FIASCO. And on the local scene he is fascinated with the music of artistes such as: ELDEE, TUFACE, MODE 9, SAUCE KID to name a few.  STEEVEBARS is currently on LARRIKIN ENTERTAINMENT(indie), his former “JOOR OH & DO YA THANG” single and the current single “JU SINU BAG (Mixtape cut)” are currently rocking charts, raising the roofs at nightclubs, radio and television stations, and enjoying rising patronage on online avenues such as YOUTUBE, REVERBNATION, SOLIDGBEDU VIBES.COM & 4shared.com.


His style of music is leaving this hip-hop artiste standing out at parties. STEEVEBARS the pride of OGB is a bona fide star, and will undoubtedly continue to be for a very long time.
STEEVEBARS is currently working on a mixtape project titled “str8 outta O.G.B” which is already causing expected ripples among those who have heard the leaked joints. This will soon be made out for street consumption. Music has always been an integral part of this hip-hop delight and lyrical sensation. He has been singing and performing since he could say dah dah.STEEVEBARS had an early start with a supportive family who helped propelled his musical career till date. Singing in dozens of languages (from English to Yoruba, and everything in between) and producing mellow, ambient new age hip hop rap music.

STEEVEBARS is currently achieving moderate success as a solo hip-hop artist although still in his mid 20s, his career really took off in 2003. He recorded his first demo track in 2004, lacing 7 raw hip-hop joints for a start, and has been kicking it ever since. He joined the MYSTIQUE Crew band in 2006. The trio band, comprising of DEJARVUH, K-BLACK and STEEVEBARS himself known as (S.I.Dee) then, had to their credit two singles titled “OYAPIAM and KILOMO?” After touring extensively with that group for several years, a revived attempt at a SOLO career in proved successful with both critics and fans, and eventually led to major Local fame.
           STEEVEBARS s a gifted rapper known for dropping deep-rooted metaphors and punch lines. He is also skilful in making up heavy metal bars. He is undoubtedly a talented singer and a highly energetic live performer. He attended MARYLAND CATHOLIC NURSERY & PRIMARY SCHOOL in Ogbomoso, Oyo state; he later went to FEDERAL GOVERNMENT COLLEGE, IKIRUN in OSUN STATE for high school, OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY, AGO IWOYE (O.O.U) for a short programme and later opted out to pursue a carrier in MUSIC in 2007, Which seems to be one of the toughest decision made by the young MC at the time.  STEEVEBARS is currently single. He is a goal getter, very determined and passionate to be on top of his game. He speaks three languages fluently: ENGLISH, YORUBA and PIDGIN ENGLISH.
